I'm back from my wonderful vacation and thought I'd kick things off with *my first ever* IMM.
In My Mailbox is a meme hosted by Kristi, the amazing blogger over at The Story Siren. It's to share all the lovely book-related goodies I have received in the past week (bought, borrowed, won, etc.). I want to start posting an IMM on every Sunday, but since I was away yesterday, I thought I'd post it today (same diff!).
Divergent by Veronica Roth. I actually read this fabulous book over a year ago, but found it at a local book store for a really cheap price. How could I resist?
Eve by Ann Carey. My friend and I both picked up a copy of this promising Dystopian novel. It was a little expensive, but Eve is a new release, and seems great! I can't wait to dig in!
Frost by Marianna Baer. I've read mixed reviews about this book, and have been wanting to read it for quite some time now. So when I saw it lying abandoned and alone on the Children's section of the book store (I hate it when people don't put books back in their right places!), I immediately snatched it up.
Fury by Elizabeth Miles. As you guys probably know, if you have seen my review, I've already read Fury and really liked it. Check out my review!
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkins. You can't really see the title (due to the poor lighting arrangement), but as soon as I saw this book at the library, my heart started pounding with excitement. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer has received the best reviews in the blogging world that I have ever seen! Seriously!! I've already started it and can see why. One word: Noah... *sigh*.
If I Stay by Gayle Forman. I've seen this book in the library for a long time now and have been eyeing it for months, not sure if I would be able to take all the heartbreak and sorrow... I'm preparing myself for emotional exhaustion.
Lies by Michael Grant. This is the third book in the Gone series by Michael Grant. I just can't seem to get enough of his books!
Received For Review:
The Last Echo by Kimberly Derting. This is my first ARC so far, and I hope that there will be many more to come! I am a huge, huge, fan of the lovely and talented Kimberly Derting, and love her to death, so imagine how I ecstatic I was when I received this in my mailbox!! I still can't believe it! I can't wait to start reading!!
And the part that got me jumping up and down all over again... she signed it! Oh Emm Gee!!
The amazing Miss Kimberly Derting also sent me some signed bookmarks, along with stickers and bands with the ARC. I'm going to be hosting a giveaway soon, so one lucky person will receive this cool swag. Did I mention how much I love Kimberly Derting?
Well, that's all for this week... I'm quite pleased with all the books/swag I got, and can't wait to start reading!
