This weeks question is...
Q: This Sunday in the U.S. is Mother's Day, in celebration, what are some of your favorite books with a strong Mother/Child relationship?
I love books with great mother/child relationships! One of my all time favorite classics is Anne of Green Gables, which features a strong relationship between two of the main characters, Anne, and Marilla, Anne's mother. Although Anne is an orphan, Anne and Marilla's relationship really is so beautifully poignant and truly heartwarming.... it's so touching and definitely a strong relationship.
Another one of my favorite books with a strong mother/child relationship would have to be Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Percy's mom is always there for him and is so understanding and sweet. I love both of them! If you are a fan of Greek Mythology, Percy Jackson is a must-read!!
I would love to hear all of your answers, so feel free to share!
