Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill over at Breaking the Spine. It's to spotlight books I'm just DYING to get my hands on!!

                                             This weeks WoW is..
Gigi, Bea, and Neerja are best friends and total overachievers. Even if they aren’t the most popular girls in school, they aren’t too worried. They know their real lives will begin once they get to their Ivy League colleges. There will be ivy, and there will be cute guys in the libraries (hopefully with English accents)! But when an unexpected event shows them they’re missing out on the full high school experience, it’s time to come out of the honors lounge and into the spotlight. They make a pact: They will each take on their greatest challenge—and they will totally rock it. 

Gigi decides to run for student rep, but she’ll have to get over her fear of public speaking—and go head-to-head with gorgeous California Will. Bea used to be one of the best skiers around, until she was derailed. It could be time for her to take the plunge again. And Neerja loves the drama club but always stayed behind the scenes—until now.

These friends are determined to show that smart girls get what they want—but that could mean getting way more attention than they ever bargained for....

This seems so funny, and I can't wait to read it! Plus, the title speaks volumes... I'm so glad that there's finally a book prominently featuring smart girls and how awesome they (ok, WE) are! LOL. This seems like a great Summer read!!

  1. It sounds like such a nice read! I haven't read a book like that in such a long time as I've been so immeresed in Fantasy and Sci-Fi! It does sound like a great Summer read though and I might try to get my hands on it when summer comes around for me :P

The first time I saw this cover, I literally thought, "That has to be the BEST title ever!" x) Everyone keeps saying that badass girls or sweet girls or popular girls always get what they want, but I like to think that smart girls are the ones with the magical powers of persuasion :') (Secretly: We're in the same brainy club together? YAY! Why am I not surprised LOL? <3)

  10. I've been around badass girls and popular girls and sweet girls but unless they're smart as well, they rarely get what they want. That is no lie.
